Christmas Day 2004
The
Christmas storm of 2004 blanketed the Midwest with snow and ice.
The highway from Evansville was closed. No
planes could fly in or out of Cincinnati, so Richard and Ishraq were "stuck"
in Miami through Christmas Eve. Many
streets in Cincinnati were impassable.
And yet..... everyone fought through and made it to 203 for Christmas.
How very, very gratifying!

The
pictures on this site are of course reduced in resolution. The originals,
taken with Arthur's great new hi-res camera, are on hand, should anyone want
prints.
Because of the power of that camera, prints even from relatively small croppings
will turn out well.

The "Family Portrait" shown above is a first-draft
composite, put together from the series we took Christmas Day.
There may well be better choices for individuals' heads and poses.
