Damage Done to Property  at  203 Poage Farm Road Through Removal of Three Large Trees

These majestic old trees were so damaged by the windstorm of 9/23/08, with trunks cracked open, that they were in grave danger of falling on the house and had urgently to be removed.  These were large (30 meter) trees.   It took a crew two days to do the job, and required the use of a crane-truck, a grinder truck, a dump truck and two support trucks.  The first three of these quite large vehicles had to be driven into the property through hedges and over ground cover to access the trees.  When the work was done, the lawn and garden looked as if a tank battle had been fought there.  Here are pictures.
