Night-Blooming
Cereus at 203 Poage Farm Road
Second blooming of the
year, both times with large, multiple blossoms, each eight or
nine inches across.
On this occasion, September 10th, 2012, the
flowers opened not at night but at dawn. Provided quite a
nice show over coffee!
(The plant is a descendent from a cutting
Bob Messner gave us 50 years ago, taken from a Cereus he'd
brought to Germany from Venezuela)
