Message from Dan Bailey:

I’m in the process of arranging for a wreath to be laid on 15 August 2021 (the 80^th anniversary of the downing of the aircraft) at the memorial on which my uncle’s name, and that of David Downer Hoare, is engraved.  The memorial is to all lost airmen who served on the island of Malta in the Mediterranean during WWII, and sits just outside the island’s capital, Valetta.
