BANGOR, Maine – Trailing by three points with less than a minute to play, MIT got a game-tying 38-yard field goal as time expired in regulation, and then made a spectacular TD catch in overtime to pull out a thrilling, 27-20 win against host Husson University in the first round of the 2014 NCAA Division III Football Tournament. MIT, ranked No. 24 in this week's AFCA poll, kept its perfect season alive and moves to 10-0 while Husson saw its season end at 8-2 . |
